This might be a silly question but can you grow totties from ones that we should have eaten but have sprouted? Going to try carrots again in a tub and try cauliflower and brocolli. They grew really well in a tub last year but were ready to eat when we were on holiday... Arrrgh! I seem to get excited about things growing and then we get a big blast of wind and everything gets ruined!

People need to take a bit of responsibility for thinking about where the meat they eat comes from. So if you're not happy to take meat from a local slaughterhouse where hopefully humane conditions exist that can be monitored are you enjoying eating meat that has come from a poor creature holed up in a cramped shed, never having fresh air and grass to run on? I hope all the chemicals pumped into the suffering animals and the extra fat because it can't walk in a straight line tastes really good. Come on, be aware, don't turn a blind eye, it happens, at least make it local and humane! And no I'm not a raging vegan, just someone with a conscience!

Does anyone use online craft forums as a place to share ideas and or promote their website? What do you use and how have you found them. Suggestions welcome.

Anyone been to the craft fair, what did you think and what was your favorite stall?

I'm interested in having a stall at a craft fair in one of the community halls but haven't done it in Shetland before. Can anyone advise me of quantities they would normally take to sell. Would be selling cards and paper crafts. Many thanks for any help!!!
