    Womens Rugby?

Womens rugby is back on the go again. They are looking to start training alongside the mens team on a Thursday at 6:30pm Clickimin rugby pitch. The first session is looking to be a week tomoro so get you're boots ready and let anyone interested know.
  3. Watched last week, was only ten players or so there. New player i noticed was Calvin Leask. I've also heard that Paul Grant has been omitted from the squad for this year but will be back all going well. Other as that I'm thinking it's pretty much the same.
  4. Spurs drew 0 - 0 with a very weakened Celtic team, great game to watch, very much enjoyed.
  5. Celtic still have leaders, Joel Bradley, Paul Grant (captained many times last season) and John Simpson (ex captain/very experianced player). They also have new signing, the Fenwick lad who was a leader for Ness last season. It will be between them and Whalsay this season as I believe the madrid cup is played first meaning their students will have returned for the begining of the league campaign. Whalsay are clear favourites although they will only have one thomson onboard as Eric is going to be working fulltime down the road. Spurs need to start playing as a team, stop getting down eachothers throats and sort there defence. If they do that they will be a force. I believe Thistle will improve this year, they have been very impressive in the pre season friendlies without the Teales, Stuart Smith and Neil Laurenson. Cannot wait to be watching the teams of Shetland grace the green grass again in 5 weeks time!!
  6. Friendly results Delting 0-1 Thistle Whitedale 0-2 Celtic Thistle keep good performances going and a very much improved celtic performance with some really enjoyable football to watch in very poor conditions. Jordan Webb who???
  7. Just checked Dusty and im affraid you are totally wrong!! They are both Celtic players. Dominic Mann will also be playing for celtic from May. Celtic will be very close to all honours on offer bar the madrid cup as the students will only return at the tail end of that competion. Whalsay will again be favourites followed by the green and whites with Spurs n Whitedale sniffing about. Can't wait!!
  8. Celtic have far more potential, nearly won the league last season with the average age of the starting team being 19-22 throughout the season. You still disagree *MOD EDIT*? Heard Webb left to get the fancy new tracksuit at spurs Heard a rumour from a ness man today that Paul Grant is now jumping ship?! Surely he has more sence!
  9. 3-4-3 Paul Grant (cel) Joel Bradley (cel) Richard Arthur (wha) Duncan Frazer (whi) Connor Regan (cel) Jordan Webb (cel) James Johnston (spu) Eric Thomson (wha) Stuart Shearer (wha) Paul Malloy (wht) James Aitken (cel)
