Could you help #DecodeDementia? Although people with dementia are mainly older people, the illness can create some challenging situations for the family and friends of the person with dementia. 90,000 people in Scotland live with dementia and it is likely that most of us will know someone who has it - that’s why it is so important that people of all ages are dementia aware. Young Scot is looking for enthusiastic and imaginative young people who want to make Scotland a better place for people with dementia. Venue to be confirmed. All travel and lunch costs are covered. The closing date is Monday 17th August 2015. For more information or help to complete your application form contact Martin Summers at Shetland Youth Services HQ in Islesburgh. Or email martin.summers@shetland.gov.uk SNH & Young Scot - National Volunteers Wanted Do you know a young person who fancies volunteering and becoming part of an advisory panel for Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and Young Scot?
