My friend's girlfriend did an acoustic set on our student union radio station - she covered 'I Remember You' by Skid Row, which I think beats the original. If you go to our radio station homepage and scroll down, you should find it: http://www.strathclydefusion.com

^^^ Are you serious?! You didn't work out that Gok Wan is gay? -
Yep - service has been like that for years. I mind me and my best pal going in there a good few years ago now, must have been when I was about 16 or 17. There was a young lass on who served a few tables that were seated after us but blanked the two of us. Finally a young boy took our order, and a few minutes after this lass finally came by and said 'Are you being served, yeah?' I said 'Yes...' and resisted the urge to end with '...no thanks to you.' It never seems to get any better - a shame, because I do love those Cheeky Monkey sweet pancakes. Not had one in years...

I just thought that was dreadful. As lovely as the big white wedding can be, I've always been impressed with couples who try to be different. I always thought for years that I'd wear black if I ever got married (I've now settled on purple), but it's such a shame they felt the need to do that.

^^^ I forgot about Travis' version Have the guitar chords for it somewhere in a book. Eva Cassidy did some lovely covers in her time; notables being 'Over the Rainbow', 'Fields of Gold' (both make me greet when I hear them!) and 'Songbird'.
