To the driver of OY64 BNE silver Caddy van, Thanks for driving so close to me at 0725 through Whiteness. Even in the gloom of early morning you were so close to me that I could read your number plate!!! Although the traffic in front was only doing 50mph, up Wormadale hill, what did you think you'd achieve by being so close? Even at 50mph you are still covering 22 meters per second. At the distance you were from me, if something had happened i.e. a car coming the other way on our side of the road, you wouldn't even have had time to process that something was wrong before going into the back of me. But don't worry I'm sure if something happened our useless police force in Shetland would find some reason for the car you hit to be in the wrong!!!

Car tax disc to be axed after 93 years

I was reminded this is happening when I renewed the road tax for my car today. No longer will you be able to check if that car that has been standing in your road has been abandoned just by looking in the windscreen. No longer will you need to stick a notice in the windscreen saying "tax disc applied for". Hi Can anyone please tell me which is the best and reasonable garage to get Merc benz A class batteries replaces from and also get servicing done ? I can see some great value and good review batteries on amazon but I am a new driver so dont want to take the risk of buying it online etc. Any advise and info will be much appreciated Thank you
