Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew where I could get a better internet connection in Shetland, preferably in Lerwick. I live in Yell where the internet speed is appalling, I am trying to download a film that said it would take days to download with my internet connection. I once used the WiFi at Clickamin and it appeared to be extremely fast. I noticed that the main Lerwick Shetland library's WiFi has had a speed boost recently in a press release online but I have never been there so I don't know if its any use. If they had a fast connection, that place would be perfect. So I could sit down in their laptop area and do some other work while I wait. If you happen to be using any of the public wifi in Shetland in the near future, it would be great if you'd check the speed and post it along with the location here. I use www.speedtest.net but beware, most of the buttons on the site are adverts so just click the "Begin Test" one. Thanks, Jack

Hi, Getting fed up with my slow and unreliable broadband connection so am thinking of getting a Satellite Broadband connection. I'm looking at going with Tooway on their XL package but read mixed reviews online. Just wondered what folks experience is in Shetland - especailly regarding reliabilty of speed throught the day and their fair usage policy etc.
