Guest Anonymous
The mods used this 'living room' term today, and I have to admit it was a good term.Shetlink is a kinda fine place to be when there's no serious arguments going on. When it feels like you can just grab the fiddle doon fae abön da mantlepiece an hae a guid crack. So, maybe the Shetlink Living Room is a thread which could be like MiM is looking for. A thread without hassle. A bit laek a livin room, whaur ony een can sae what dey laek, atil dey spaek sharn an get balled upö da briggie stanes.Lat wis see foo lang dis topic can staand afore some eeen spaeks sharn.... Apairt fae me för startin it.

Mattie
Would you like a cup of tea? Then we can get the fire going.. And maybe listen to the trannie (radio) to maybe hear of some nice things going on in the world - for once.
RickB
A cup of tea would be nice, thank you. I've brought along some biscuits. Does anyone want one? (hands around the biscuits) Excellent weather were having just now. I think its going to be another great summer.

Para Handy
Just as well my mother is not involved with the Shetlink sitting room. As she would have been up hovering and dusting it before the Home Help comes in to do the same job, even if it killed her. Kind’a like some of the moderators
