(and the small school sizes are a major reason why) we knew that already - id think the school info is one of the main things that familys think about as the education of the children comes high in the running on 'life oppertunities' especialy if you live south in a city. as we have big schools in wee areas through out shetland this means the children are spread out more than in larger towns. the class numbers will change after the councilers get a back bone and close some of the small ones and move the children to the bigger schools in the area. i'd guess that they wont do this or talk about any of the bigger news projects as its too near elections though, they will advoied the rath of the shetland times letter page! in all id say that shetland is a great place to stay, it would be even better if we could aford time and cost of getting off and on the place cheaper.
