ng7627
Does anybody know why I would suddenly be unable to receive emails from a certain email address(my daughter)? Last one received was 25th February and she has replied to a few of mines since but they haven't come in.
Frances144
Can you get into the mail online bit of your email address, ie the mail provider's page and look at your mail from there?Perhaps your inbox is full, or your trash can is full and no more can come in. ng7627
Thanks for your replies but I delete rubbish all the time both from my inbox and then my deleted file so I don't think they are full. Really strange though I have just received one from her for the first time in a couple of weeks in spite of her assuring me she's sent ones previously. We're with Shetland Broadband as our provider. Colin
Lots of ISP's operate their own 'spam' filters and, if the level of traffic to your inbox contains a high level of what they perceive to be 'spam', they might tun the filter on automatically. Result is that if the sender's domain or email address is being picked up by your ISP as 'spam' then, you will not get the email. There might be a setting on your ISP account that will enable/disable the filter.
