Popular Post Claadehol
I have just released another ewe which had its head caught in the square mesh high tensile fencing on the Kames. I released one last year, both times the ewe had a lamb at her feet. The ewes manage to stick their heads through the wire to reach the grass beyond, and cant get their heads back through. If left they risk collapse and possibly losing their eyes to crows or blackbacked gulls. I would ask drivers travelling on the Kames to please watch out for any animals in this sort of distress. It requires a little force to shove the ewes head back through the wire, but that effort will ensure the survival of both the ewe and her lamb. brian.smith, Scorrie and Not2daythankyou
