Suffererof1crankymofo
Just pay the small additional amount to upgrade to the plane then?Except you have to book the plane yourself, the whole fare in its entirety upfront. The NHS Shetland Board might take weeks or a couple of months to process the paperwork for the fact a patient flew. Not everyone has a few hundred squids spare for such a "small additional amount". Suffererof1crankymofo
The next NHS Shetland board meeting is on Tuesday, 18th April 2017 at 9.30am at Bressay Room, Montfield, Burgh Road Lerwick. They have stated they intend to hold the patient travel part in private. However, the meeting is open to the public. A few of us are going - why not come along and peacefully let them know how you feel?
