ng7627
Has anybody ordered a large kitchen appliance fae Tesco i.e. a fridge or freezer? Do you know if could be delivered? It says on their website large kitchen appliances can be delivered but doesn't specify which ones. It also says about receycling old fridge/freezers from £9.99. Has anybody ever used this service and does it apply to Shetland? Thanks.
breeksy
I've had sofas delivered so reckon they could do a freezer. Can't help with the recycling question though!

blackbicbiro
Id get it from George Robertsons in Lerwick, their prices are as competitive as the mainland and you have somewhere local to take it to if you need it fixed. https://www.grdirect.co.uk/refrigeration Edited October 3, 2017 by blackbicbiro Urabug

crofterlady
I'd suggest getting it from George Robertsons. Their prices are good and their service is excellent. They will also take your old appliance away at no extra cost. I always try to buy locally, not only to support local trade, but also because there is on the button customer service. I recently priced an item on the internet and got it cheaper at Irvine Interiors. Also, at Planticrub and Smith & Robertson I got a full refund for damaged goods with no quibble whatsoever. They didn't even ask for a receipt but took my word for it! That's what I call service!
