We can complain all we went about folks parking, especially on Commercial Street, but I think the best bet is to share photos of these eejits

So I made a facebook page to do just that!

Give it a like and add photos of these inconsiderate parkers.

You might get a little for "traction" if you weren't a crusader!  Is describing people as "knobs" acceptable ?

I'm not a crusader, I know it won't change peoples minds, just a bit of fun!

Also these kind of pages are all over:

How original is that.

I don't give a hoot about what happens in other areas and, would never use it as an "excuse" to do the same here.

1st off, the car park seems to be at Tesco's.  It is an "off road" parking area, not "official", and parking there is at the whims and discretion of Tesco.  If THEY want to "police" it, then fine but, it is not an area that anyone (other than Tesco) can control..

2nd. Who knows how the vehicle ended up in that position.  The owner just might have been "forced" into parking that way because of "bad" parking by others.  Vehicles being "abandoned" in silly places is a common occurence at Tesco.

3rd.  You describe them as "eejits" when you have no proof that they are..  How kind.

4th.  The number plate on the FB page has been blacked out.  Afraid of reprecussions.?

5th.  Continue with the derogatory comments if you must.  Just remember that what you see as a "bit of fun" others will take exception to.

I see loads of bad parking daily.  Why not report it to the police if it bothers you so much..

Personally chaps, I see nothing wrong with highlighting those that park like knobs. Maybe the council could bring back the man who used to patrol the streets. How about a system where a ticket is issued and if the offences keep building up then the "knob" can resit the test. There are too many people on the road who can't even reverse a car properly, (if at all). Shouldn't be on the road....

It did have one for long enough, it got wrecked by grumpy farts getting overly emotional about not getting parked where they wanted in tesco and young folk trying their best to appear on the page because it wound up the aforementioned grumpy farts. These pages are rarely fun but a prime example of the passive aggression that gets displayed on social media.
