Oh yeah of course. The yanks would never get it otherwise. The thing is that 'marry me and let me be' would not really rhyme with 'Way to get from A to Zed'! We were brought up in the Sesame Street generation where 'Zee' rules the Atlantic. Kids these days. The video was shot in the outskirts of Budapest on some estate. If you look closely at the final scene you can see a sandstorm heading our way. Had 20 mins to shoot last scene and get our gear covered. Oh and have you spotted the nod to Shetland educational system? See the cars number plate. Completely intentional of course. Cheers.

The Stagger Rats have recently signed a record deal with WP Ents Records after 2 months of recording their debut album earlier this year in Budapest with Owen Morris. We recorded our first single with Robert Godfrey (keyboard player of Enid) at his studio in Northampton. Mad as a box of frogs! Too many bad mushrooms me thinks but an all round nice guy. The Enid are very impressive live so I have been told.

Okay, we're all back in Scotland now, back to reality! Thanks to everyone that was involved with the making of the album and the videos; Will Clothier and Peter Grundberg, Owen Morris our producer, Viktor Szabo the best and hardest working engineer in the world, Bob Wallace our manager, Etienne De Fleurieu, Elisa Azzena, Rich Adkin, Adam Temesi (Zed), Andras Derzsy (Brain) and all their crew, Krisztina Ilosfai and everyone involved with WPEnts and Brody house. Also I think we'd like to thank each other for surviving almost two months in VERY close quarters. The Stagger Rats leave the UK this week to record their debut album in Hungary with producer Owen Morris. Owen has produced some of the top selling British albums with artists such as Oasis, The View, The Verve and Ash. The album is set to be released around May 2011 with a string dates across Europe. They are booked to play Tall Ships in Shetland in July.

The Stagger Rats are playing the Tall Ships in July and this happens to coincide with 2 other festivals that weekend at different ends of the UK. As we will be pressed for time we are looking to borrow or rent a Hammond organ. It would save us a lot of hassle as we will not get our one on the plane and the boat will delay us.
