BASEketball - Want to start a league?

So tonight, for the umpteenth time I watched the movie BASEketball. For those who don't know it, it is a movie by David Zucker (Scary Movie 3, Naked Gun, Airplane) about a new sport that fuses Basketball and Baseball together. The movie stars the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

 

Two websites I have found show the (somewhat complicated) rules. They may look complex however when you watch the movie you get a better grasp of them.

I know at least two other people who would want to start a team with me (Teams = 3 players although it can be larger and have substitutes) but we need at least six people for two teams, although the more the merrier.

 

As the rules are pretty thorough, it may be wise to all get together and discuss them over a pint before the league actually started. This is all up in the air obviously. It happening depends on interest.

 

Even if a league didn't actually go ahead this year it would still be cool to get together and have a few games.

This could work and im pretty sure we will get enough people to have a good few games or so. Im definitely in, as you know, and will also ask about for other interested persons.
