Rune Posted September 19, 2009 Report Share Posted September 19, 2009 Hi, Im a 27 year old dobro (squareneck) player from Denmark who visited Shetland around 2006 for the folk music festival. Ever since Ive had a little dream of going back for a few months and try to get involved with the music scene there - and hopefully get better at those jigs and reels! So Im hoping you guys here at Shetlink could give me some advice on where to look for accomodation or how to get in touch with the music scene.. Im looking for a 1 or 2 month rental in Lerwick around in april/may/june, so I can catch the folk festival while Im there. Does this sound realistic?
