  1. I think JustMe sums it up very well. There are so many variables to consider. School closures in Bigton, Quarff, Levenwick, Gulberwick etc, didn't kill off those communities, far from it. It seems strange that the South Mainland has one model of education and everywhere else has another, I imagine there have been logical reasons for this but until there is a consistent model applied then certain communities will feel they are being picked on.
  2. I doot Gary Wiseman has shot his bolt (metaphorically at least) after his good round last week, his peerie sister might be an outside bet though. The boy Allwyn from the valleys will be favourite for the scratch with the Wowsa boys no far away either. The handicap could be anybody's, some bandit like Gilfillan or Neil Hen could be a good bet if they can keep it going for two rounds.
