AB/CD, who cover the era when Bon Scott was singer, make a welcome return north after previous sell-out gigs in the isles. Proud Mary played a fantastic gig in front of a sell-out crowd at the legendary King Tut's in Glasgow last night. Tickets are still available for their 2 Shetland gigs at the end of the month from High Level Music in Lerwick and The Brae Hotel. North Country Fair have also been added as support alongside The First Foot Soldiers.

Holding an open air concert at Holmsgarth is easier said than done!!! The LPA will sanction the area's use for events like Tall Ships, but it is in a busy docksidea area and is used regularly by the fishing industry. Saying that though, it would be great to see it used a music arena at least once a year, as it has proved a huge success again this year.
