Well after my saying about people driving right up your backside on the road goings out of town past sound school. This lunch time while we were driving home and the lights were flashing for 20mph we had a small car gesturing us to drive faster. Usually this would not bother me but then they OVERTOOK us!! Sped right up the hill. The car was full of teenagers grinning and laughing at the window. Discusting!

Well its much easier to become a member of the legion it seems. I am now a member.

Im quite looking forward to the themed nights that will be happening at the museum. I have my eye on the american night.

I honestly think they should have a 'lights' lesson when driving. I had no idea about lights really.

oh and just to clarify, im far from a perfect driver myself. passed enarly two years ago but only getting the courage to drive on my own now really.

When im driving home I tend to get people over taking me when im slowing down and signalling to go into the road by my house(as im slowing from a a 40mph rd onto a 30mph rd) and they are carrying on up the hill to head to gulberwick area. One of these days one of these big bully cars are going to crash doing this. Ive seen a few near misses there. They also tend to be right up your backside on that stretch of road trying to make you go faster.

The problem with British Legions is that they have restricted membership. Their heyday was when there were thousands of ex WW2 service people who wre economically active. That membership base has all but died off and there aren't enough ex service people nowadays who are interested in the Legion,

.. That no true theres no problem getting a membership for the legion these days they realised years back so they have family memberships and theres no limit on the amount off associate members they have these days..

Well we are STILL waiting on our memberships. Applied years ago. When we ask we say they are just doing them

Our "unlimited" broadband is with BT that's our phone provider too. It's good dont have problems with it but i guess it depends how much download goes on. Just tell those smelly children to stop downloading so much! But don't send them to my house you can keep them!

Could the council not perhaps have a devotion of it for selling cars where you have to pay a small fee to do so?

If it really is that good of a place to sell a small fee wouldn't make a difference surely?

 

We already pay enough for the privilage of using the roads , never mind what we already pay to the sic.

To start paying them a fee would be the thin end of the wedge , some smartass would then come up with the idea that we would all have to pay them for parking on a public road.

Just think how lucky we are we don't have to pay for parking in all car parks like south then!

So had our meal at the Lerwick hotel last night. Went for the steaks(as usual) and it was fab! The husband had a scrummy looking slice of tart for his pudding and it looked delish! If I hadn't have been stuffed I would have had also! Top marks for Lerwick hotel from us as usual. They woman serving(seemed to be manager) was very friendly.

And yes....(naughty I know) but after standing watching the procession and getting soaked we decided to grab a cone of chips from the happy haddock. They were delish! So fresh!
