I totally agree about the kennels on the ferry being appauling. My husband works in Shetland so the kids and I visited for the summer holidays ( from teesside ) It was dark, noisy and they crew would not allow me to go into the kennels at all during the night. So, the poor dogs were caged in from 4.30pm until 7.30am................. Also, when you book the kennels, ask for a lower crate. I nearly died when i saw how high the upper crate was, i have 2 Boxers and i could not lift them above my head!!! We are moving to shetland soon and im not looking forward to using them again.
