  1. completely impractical

Yes there may be some sections of road that would be suitable and for a short period, but then what? do you swap tyres over when you get to a clean patch or the snow melts?

however to answer your question, if you cant find anyone here then id order from south and have them fitted when they get delivered.

  2. it seems that standard propane is indeed suitable for auto gas, however by the time you factor in the cost of a gas bottle in shetland and the effort to pump it out into the car and the dross you get in the bottom of the bottles causing reliability issues its not worth the hastle, even before paying the vat man.

Its maybe suitable if you have a large gas tank for heating your house and have a take off from that, im sure the bulk gas cost would come down.

perhaps the new gas plant at sullom will be a source of cheaper gas in the future?

  3. why didnt you just phone them than starting a thread on here? i think if you had it would ave been quicker???

trying to find local direct numbers to big companies isnt easy, its usually just an 0870 number, I did try a number I had but it was either engaged or not answered, so it was therefore inconclusive as to if I had the correct number.

trot off and troll some place else

  4. http://www.mareel.org/

What an appalling home page, its just a jumble of stuff, no structure, no clear navigation

Why are there no prices listed for the 'normal' film tickets other than in each individual film? so I have to look at each individual film before I know how much its going to cost?

Also booking films goes by the date of the month, so looking at the drop down list I have to know what date say this Saturday is before I can book - the day of week needs adding to the list I think.

  5. I've managed to get up and down the stairs in the cinema quite easily each time I've visited - once while carrying a heavy tripod and a large, heavy bag of camera gear

So thats who makes the dodgy film copies on the internet!

probably want to be more covert and loose the tripod

  6. did you not see the state of them. not road worthy

    In your opinion...

As far as I was aware they were never officially inspected after he was stopped to ascertain their roadworthy state.

The point you made was regards lack of MOT and Insurance was the cause for us to be at greater risk of injury. Which is not correct.
