  1. But..

If weather and road conditions dictate then you should be driving at the roads limit. Driving instructors teach students to drive at the roads capability.

    eg. by saying speed up.

If you saw someone driving along a motorway at 20mph or less, because thats the speed they want to do, then they are in the wrong and can expect to get pulled over.

"No motor vehicle shall be driven on a road at such a slow rate of speed as to impede or block the normal and reasonable movement of traffic thereon except when the slow rate of speed is necessary for safe operation having regard to all the circumstances."

    exactly

  2. There can also be a problem with drivers being too cautious. I was behind a car the other day travelling about forty mph (on 60mph roads) and braking every time a bend came up. I then had to brake too which, had there been any frost that morning, could have been hazardous.

Surely if you're travelling at a speed at which it is hazardous to brake, then you're travelling too quickly ?

i don't think you understand what he meant inky, if your traveling on a 60mph road and someone is doing 40mph, they shouldn't really be braking at all unless for a really tight corner. Ive also been stuck behind drivers that are braking for no valid reason doing far less than the speed limit, i agree with anniecool when she(?) says it could be dangerous... if im wrong with what i am saying correct me

  3. what are the thoughts on this?

personally i think he shouldn't have been appointed in the first place, as i have never rated him as a manager.

on the other hand he hasn't got many (decent) players to work with...
