Sheltie Trow
Help I just accidentally fed my new wool cardi to the washing machine on a 40 cycle!!!! It now looks small and the ribbed cuffs and edges look wavy. The cardi is 42% wool, 30% acrylic and 28% alpaca and the washing instructions say machine washable in wool program dry flat. I don't have a jumper board, is there anything I can do to rescue it?
LandRover S2a
Do you know anyone with a jumper board that you can borrow, this is probably the most likely way of rescuing it. If you are local to me you can borrow mine.
Sheltie Trow
Thanks for the offer, I managed to borrow a neighbors but my cardi is far too small to go on it! The body of the bard ti too wide as is the sleeves. However I spoke to my granny who told me to put it on for about 10 mins then carefully roll it off and then dry, so I'm currently wearing a wet cardi! Nice! Girzie
Dry it and cut it up to use in your rag rug! Or give it to Burra Bears...
