I'm convinced it's laminate flooring as we have a ventilation system , and use all eco cleaning products the more you read about VOCS ,New houses are packed with new things , insulation that's all treated with chemicals its trapped in the house maybe a new house needs 5 to 10 years to leech out the badness

A lot to be said for an old draughty house never felt well in my new build , even with Heat recovery ventilation

Does anyone out there have any issues with health issues with new builds Symptoms include constant blocked nose , short of breath , closed throat , itching all over Time away from the house symptoms vanish then return with vengeance when coming back Is it a wide spend problem any advice or hints?

All good points , but when it's comes down to it 5 million pounds has been given to run the ferries all swallowed up into the general pot none going back into reducing fares Funding for tunnels and bridges are a different issue If the Scottish government gave shetland money for tunnels and bridges but spent that money elsewhere all hell would be let loose

It might not cover the full cost of funding , but funding has been provided and surely a reduction is due What should be said if r.e.t. wasn't implemented but funding was provided If you live on any of the outer isles I'd be asking we're the extra 5 million is being spent

So the council have had a good chunk of funding for ferries provided by the Scottish government. Are island residents due a fare reduction ?

300+ million in the bank , no family in shetland should be hungry no family in shetland should worry about turning the heating on , sitting on nest eggs at some point they should be allowed to hatch As the the the new special agent from the USA I've no family connection but she is a superb person with a strong track record lets hope she can shake up the establishment
