BBC News announced today: BNP leader Nick Griffin has agreed to ask his party to amend its constitution so it does not discriminate on grounds of race or religion, a court heard. The UK's equalities watchdog had argued the BNP broke the Race Relations Act by restricting members to "indigenous Caucasian" people.

Sound Hall and Islesburgh cannot host the gig due to staff etc. The gig has to be in Lerwick. The only other place I can think of is Norscot. I am open to suggestions if anybody can think of any alternative venues. Cheers.

I am hoping to put on a gig around Christmas time with some bands from south. As the birth of Arnold falls on the Friday, the gig would have to be on the 27th to allow the guys time to get up. (Damned boat!) What would be the general consensus, does Shetland do gigs on a Sunday? Would people attend? Feedback would be appreciated as I'm gonna book it soon. Cheers.

The Stagger Rats have been recording at the Tollbooth in Glasgow and at Team Love in Edinburgh over the last few weeks. 2 rough acoustic demos (recorded by myself) are now up on the myspace. The Fire and I are an amazing live band. Well worth seeing. Been raving about the Shetland crowds to them for a while so I really hope there will be a good turn out. All the best with the gigs lads.
