what about legalaid? why is it if its a shetland thing everyone jumps to support (dont get me started on cats appeal) yet anything else can go jump as far as everyone's concerned. he is not our responsibility to pay for, or are you gonna pay the legal costs etc of every person who is unfairly treated? why does he deserve this kingly treatment? if you wanna pay for him pay out of your own pocket. but why expect everyone else to. how many other charities do you support?

but that doesn't answer my other point. why are u holding a fundraiser for him? are u just gonna start giving the boy free money now? for what reason?

if sakchai meant that much to you, why aren't you willing to postpone a match for a charity match? and what would u b having a charity match for? you're not seriously thinking of giving him free money now are you? what does he need money for?

as i previously stated, that link was started after it was in the paper, but before he was found guilty. there are plenty of people all around town that know about this now, as even selbie himself and his venomous wife aren't keeping it quiet, but this is due to them trying to win sympathy.

indeed, look at the gary marshall thread for a start. there were a few choice words and phrases used against him. he's hardly a celebrity

the matter has been reported and is being dealt with and is in the public chain of awareness and, chris moyles was an example simply because i'd just read that thread, but public eye or not, why does that mean it is acceptable to slag him off and not an ordinary joe? and there have been normal people slagged off on here too. i'm not complaining about it or saying its wrong or passing judgement on those that have, but it has to be accepted that that is the case. but i suppose what one person thinks is slagging someone off is another persons idea of a witty comment

also, accept that censorship may have been too harsh a term, but my original subject matter was something that i felt had to get out in order to protect a number of possible vulnerable people. the accusation made was not just an accusation. it is fact and is being dealt with by the police as we speak. but by that point and with the desperation the guy is feeling at the moment because of it, someone else may end up hurt

i have read the terms and conditions. if you were to be upholding them, then around 95% of the posts on this site would have to be removed as they are slagging off some person or another or accusing them of some sort of action. my claim against selbie is accurate and correct and already within the legal process. all of which i know beiong related

what about the thread of gary marshall...it was up and running before he was found guilty. or is it just cause selbie has a reputation for causing trouble?

is there a reason why something regarding ian selbie cannot be posted....is he a protected species or something. yoyu cannot say it's on the grounds of content as there have been similar discussions on here before that have stayed on....why not this???
