Claudias
When will this ten hour difference between reported/actual time of posting be sorted?
JustMe
Maybe never......seems to be a feature of forums. Anyway Claudias I have changed my avatar since you joined first.
trout
Yes - this is a problem! The forum board is set to GMT - though some people (those that registered early on) need to go into their profiles and choose GMT too before their posts will display the correct time. Hope this helps. trout
JustMe
What a clever little trout......I went into my settings to find my time as gmt+10. Reset to gmt and all is as it should be.
Claudias
Many thanks. I too found that my timing was set to GMT+10. Let's see if this is posted as 22.30 (10-30pm)
Claudias
Nope. It's showing Saturday. I'll log out and try again later.
david
administrators, its possible to setup in the forum config for the default time to be GMT. It wont change current users settings*, but for any new users it will make it automatically got to GMT when they signup. * doing a bulk change to GMT would be possible with a simple sql command too. Hi David. Yep, this was a problem for the first few posters but has been rectified for the majority.
