Freyr
Yesterday a foul stench was smelled all over Western Norway, but nobody could find the source. Today metereologists report that they have examined wind and atmospheric conditions and traced the smell to Edinburgh. It turns out there was a huge sewage spill 18-20 hours before the smell reached Norway. So I would just ask if any of you nice Shetlanders know a person from Edinburgh would tell them to keep their farts to themselves! http://www.bt.no/lokalt/hordaland/article359208.ece Norwegian article
Sudden Stop
We've had an easterly wind for a couple of days now and I'm wondering if we managed to catch some of it too? There was a nasty smell all the way from the vidlin junction to lerwick and back again yesterday. Anybody else notice it or were my socks to blame? Pooks
Could be one of four things:- 1. Yer socks.2. Bore holes for proposed windfarm letting out.3. Edinburgh poop.4. Muck spreading season.
Ghostrider
Maybe it was just someone giving the Town Hall a damn good airing out before the new lot arrive....
