faraway
Got the new Snow leopard operating system to upgrade my macbook. My optical drive didn't pick up all the information so when I uploaded the base program it froze and wouldn't let me quit or force quit so had to restart the mac. But it didn't because my MOS x is no longer set and have a Kernel Panic done everything to back it up but to no avail. I am now at the stage where i start up my Mac but hold the ALT button in giving me access to my drive but my optical drive won't accept the loading disc. The solution to my problem is I need to firewire to another mac and load my operating dic from that drive via a firewire cable which I now have. This is the solution giving by apple technicians. Anybody have the know how and a Mac? Payment no problem just need my Mac back!!!Typed on a PC!

BigMouth
No, just 400FW. I also have a MacBook Pro though which does have. Would you like to contact me by PM and tell me where you are? We can see what we can work out.
