There is a rumor going round that the Pink Party is standing for election to the SIC. Their main policy is a lot of sh*t, but that is in keeping with SIC policy, so they're in with a chance.

Seriously, there is no argument. So hopefully you won't take offence to my post. I know we all have a responsibility to dispose of our butts sensibly, and I would have thought that anybody, including the SIC, would see that throwing a butt down a drain is sensible. After all, drains are meant for such things.

BTW, a little advice on this matter would be helpful.

My drawers have been wittered for so many years now that I need help in the unwittering of them.

I aye tocht dat a left snud wid wirk, bit na. I tried a richt snud, bit dat jöst wittered me left bol*ock atil da bit o elastic dat's ment ta had me pintil in aboot.

Actually, I've just remembered years ago a neighbour telling me about how the drain exploded after someone dropped a fag end down it.

 

I also remember some TV programme showing Council officials nicking people for littering and it was mainly cigarette ends; that was last year. Can't remember if it was Harrow or Westminster.
