emjay73 Posted January 17, 2013 Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 I remember reading a book written by a US doctor re diet and he stated that the first heart attack many years ago left the doctors bamboozled...so rare. Heart attacks took off at around the same time as processed foods took off, especially cheap breads and the like. If you want to lose weight forget the gym (although it does help) give up all breads, butter, marge & confectionary (sweets, crisps etc) and watch the weight fall off.
