Skalavagr
I've contacted the Shetland Times a few times with what I thought were interesting local stories Me too - I'll not bother again, though. Talking about poor journalism - remember the incident on Scalloway on the 8th of this month? Link to Shetland Times Not much happened, you'd think, to go by the "news" stories, whereas in reality (according to people who were actually there), it was lot more dramatic. It looks like all the Shetland News website and the Shetland Times did was paraphrase the official statement. Ghostrider
Its a sad indictment that you get quicker, fuller and more accurate local news via folks Facebook posts than via local media outlets, but that's where its at. Classic example, it took the ST and SN in excess of 24 hours after it was all over Facebook to post anything about the German factory boat that Nikki's Navy hauled in (pointlessly?) the other week.
