I don't know if tavish scott is breaking any scottish parlement laws by speeking out over the "No go area" of sakchai's deportation but he deserves a hand. Can we all just calm it down regarding some posts. The goverment will try to use any dirt we have on this case against us. I have found it very hard to find one person in shetland who dissagree's with our campain. (although some do, fair enough they have their reasons) But Some folk's post's may give the suggestion that they do dissagree. Shetland Amateur Athetics Club have organised a sponsored triple jump at the track on Saturday 8th July at 3pm. All or most of the athletics club will be doing as many triple jumps in an hour and under 11's long jump. We felt as these are Sakchai's events that this would be appropriate. Anyone wanting to try and we do mean anyone can get a sponsor from from me either at track on Monday and Friday from 5pm or phone 810254 and ask for Helen. Maybe you could try!!!!

Very good point mate. Our intial objective is to get sakchai back to shetland and i hope the coverage it gets in the media make's the goverment more aware of each individual case. (although knowing labour im not holding my breath) We don't intend to forget the plight of others who are less fortunate. Folks living in big city's proberly don't have the same support as a small (not forgeting powerful) close knit commuinity like shetland. Please lets not forget them!!! And yes as a follower of the SNP i believe a country like England with it's 50Mil+ population should'nt govern what a 5Mil+ country like scotland does... infact if you really think about it its quite crazy.

There is an account set up a the the BoS to raise money for the shetland for sakchai "fighting fund" . This covers his legal fees, his families expenses and for any other reasons which might crop up. If there is extra over and above what they need, then everyone will get a say in what is done with it. feel free to post ideas/details of fundraisers The althletic's group has aranged a sponcered tripple jump. details should follow. a fancy dress fundraiser football game is being aranged between the malakoff and the "shetland for sakchai" team. We should "fight the Law" and the "law is the law". The bloody labour goverment broke every law in human rights when they snatched sakchai. I don't bloody respect the law as it stands in deporting people. Every case has to be looked at individually. And as the labour goverment shows laws are there to be broken. And I and sakchai's mates have taken bloody time off work and recruted supporters through explaining the situation in length to them. No BANDWAGON, just the feeling of a gross misscarage of a flawed somewhat zenaphobic ruling passed on the sly by a goverment that doesn't listen. Valiron why should someone who takes drugs, perhaps sells drugs and cost's the taxpayers when they are taken to hospital on an overdose deserve support? freedom of speech go for it but remember while your posting irrelivant questions on this thread there is a man in cell praying for support from all of us. Sakchai is not a drug addict or alcoholic so why are you raising this point? An alcoholic or drug addict doesn't really help our community. Sakchai is a respected member of our community and does add somthing hense the support. kinda answers itself doesn't it.

The goverment have to see by now they have made a mistake. By this time they are knee deep in the stuff. What about a way out for the GOVERMENT!! Our priority is geting sakchai back to Shetland and the if's and but's of the terms of his release aren't important as such. How about a way out for the Labour goverment not to lose face, (Or should that be any more). A way they can hold their hand's up and say "Right lad's bit of a ball's up, but.......... Mr Sakchai Makao commited a crime of arson two years ago. He was sentenced to fifteen months in jail. A harsh lesson was learned on his part. justice worked and he straightened himself out. He was given a second chance by society and was deeply remorsefull of his actions. He was employed at the local lesure centre as a lifeguard, where he tought young children to swim. He payed his national insurance and tax, he kept out of trouble and became a very likeable character. He has lived in Shetland for therteen years, he has intergrated into our strong commuinity and in other words he has become a shelander. Under the new legislation set by John reid there are criminals who don't belong here, but sakchai belongs here we don't want him to go. The whole of Shetland is behind a campain to keep him here as well as some parts of mainland Britain. Please I urdge you to listen to the voters. The people of Britain whome without, you would not be in power. And let it be known sakchai is not leaving this country. We will fight this all the way. We are not the little people any more, voices will be heard. If he does leave however, i/we will not stop until every Shetlander/scotsman and briton votes another party in the next general election. Me tommy gerty pottsy and richard went out 2nite for a well desered pint. We stood outside the legeon for about 20 minutes waiting for richard to park his car. In the space of 20 minutes we saw droves of folk sign pretitions in the happy hadock. around 15 folk spoke in length about the situation. Shetland is well aware of the situation. I defiy anyone who can find a shetlander that wont support the campain. Sadly sakchai proberly knows less due to his maximum security threat to the public...bullsh*t. We are already making great progress, tommorow we intend to distrbute the posters kindly made up by the shetland times around lerwick. me and the boy's have done some good work today but what should really turn the tide is a direct attack on the goverment. They need to hear us we need to get as much coverage as possible. We have to put the goverment's name through the mud. After all these folk only care about 2 things reputation and votes. The coverage we do get should be used to best effect by slandering the goverment the best we can. We all cannot stop till he's back here. keep up the excelent work guy's
