I know first hand that Politically_Right is speaking the truth as I was forced to test it earlier this year (after a lot of research). I wont go into details but I stood up for my rights when faced with poxy legal charges when no real crime was committed (no-one suffered injury, harm or loss). I usually don't post in the Shetlink forum as there is only so much nonsense and unfounded opinion you can counter. There is usually an avalanche of BS when anyone suggests that the big boys in charge are anything other than caring, sharing, benevolent and totally transparent and honest. It's a good thing no-one can vote your rights away, otherwise the stampeding herd would have been conned out of them a long, long time ago.

Good God, just checked the forum and can't believe how far words can be twisted! So much has been misinterpreted, arms and legs added and nonsense stirred in. I could spend and eternity going in circles on this forum trying to correct slanderous, malicious comments. There are too many to even make a start now. Happy muck slinging. Enjoy the silence.

Come on guys, the Shetland movement failed/ fizzled out because they went cap in hand and begged for what they wanted. Obviousley this was not convenient for the UK government so they were sent home to think again. We now know that we do not and should not ask for permission because this would be an act of obedience and would immediately put us under their authority. We have learned so much from past mistakes and new information to the point where success is more likely now than failure. Too many people still misunderstand the situation. So much has changed and come to light since the Shetland movement days. A Sovereign Nation of Shetland does not need the majority vote, because it would not include anyone who was not sovereign themselves. It is a purely democratic movement which gives people the option of a different way, rather than the new one and only way.

Ghostrider, fear not. Pitch forks and peasant revolts are not neccessary. The important fact to remember is that we have the lawful (and historical) right to create (or re-create) our own nation. Any heavy handed action by UK plc will be unlawful and will be shown as such on an international level. Knowlege is the ultimate power in this case, and when you have enough knowlege on the subject, fear of Nanny is not an issue because we know we are right and can prove it to whatever degree necessary. The reason individual and collective sovereignty is not differentiated is that it is basically the same. Sovereign Shetland would be a group (of any size) of Sovereign people in Shetland coming together with a common purpose. Our historic Sovereignty only adds significant weight to an option we could take in any case, even if we were fully-fledged UK citizens. Have a look at the free man society movement (e.g. freeman Ireland). These people really know their stuff, but knowlege on the subject is hard won because it shatters the paradigms of the present institutions and systems. Intense study and sometimes trial and error tests, are making our movement (and many others across the globe) possible and more water-tight by the day. In short, only fear and ignorance can stop a Sovereign Shetland. The time comes when you have to decide whether you will stand as a man or crawl like a worm. Each one of us has a duty to ourselves, each other and to future generations to protect our freedoms and rights as Sovereign people. Please do the homework and get clued-up on what is going on here. Midder wit and logical reasoning are not enough in themselves. You have to actually KNOW. I am an average Joe/ man on the street who made the effort to find out. Anyone else can do the same. Sovereigns should not need to be spoon-fed.

I'm afraid you have missed some important stuff along the way. The little known truth is that everyone on Earth has, and has always had their own sovereignty. It is only lost when we consent to the authority of others (usually through ignorance). People all over the world are proving this point with astonishing success, Stuarts actions are being carried out simultaniously and independently by many thousands of other people. Individual sovereignty is proven beond doubt and is open to anyone who can be bothered to look into it. The sovereignty of Shetland has recently (thanks mainly to Stuart) been shown to still exist, and is only held in check by the apathy, ignorance and cowardice of the general population. Current "management" will not "let us away" with anything. We will do as we are lawfully entitled to do and it is they who will have to like it or lump it. We have all the components needed to build a nation as it should be - run by and for the people. All we need now are thinking men and women to come forward and build it. Government is after all only an idea... Do not take my word on any of the above points. Check it thoroughly for yourselves. Action is required in the real world if its problems are to be overcome. Keyboard warriors are encouraged to engage as real people and back up their words. Come to the confence if you can think for yourself and take responsibility back from Nanny. See you there.
