Unfortunately no Unicron, at least in da first film. I've been sent some summary early-draft script reviews (such are da perks o gettin' in touch wi fellow Transformers dorks on da internet...) an' der's no mention o him. Da story starts wi "Sam" (or Spike Witwicky as we keen him) buyin' his first car as a 17-year-auld, an' dat car turns oot tae be Bumblebee.. Hmm. Der's also - as you wid expect fae Michael Bay - an awful lot o military involvement, showin' how dey react tae da appearance o giant transformin' robots on earth. Two things in my eyes dat it is BEYOND CRUCIAL are kept: 1) Peter Cullen an' Frank Welker as da voices o Optimus Prime an' Megatron; and 2) Da transforming noise...

In my opinion (as I said during my presentation at Transformers Appreciation Night...) the Citroen adverts are a result of the "TF's Generation" now being grown up enough to be actually designing advertising campaigns. I'm a little bit worried about the film to be honest, I certainly wouldn't have chosen Michael Bay to direct. And the teaser trailer calling it "A Michael Bay film" was completely unnecessary. The one encouraging sign from looking at the crew is Steven Spielberg's involvement as an Exec Producer, and he has apparently been very "hands-on" so far. They had BETTER NOT muck this up. Mr Spielberg himself made an appearance (via video link...) at TF Appreciation Night last August! It certainly wus some night.

Hello all, Fantastic thread, really interestin' tae hear stories lik dis fae all ower Shetland. Is der any more comin' on da strage CCTV footage fae Gair & Smith's? I've niver heard o da incident in da auld school hoose in Ollaberry - Anybody keen any more dan whit's been said already? I'm PM'd the kid lookin' fur a copy o da tape. I canna believe Radio Shetland wid cover something lik yun. Just tae gie my two cents - I spent two years in da JC Hostel an' canna say dat I saw or felt anything ootstandingly weird dere.. Da Oui-Ja board craze dan cam an' went every noo an' ageen wus a bit freaky at times. I've done a few o da Ghost Tours in Edinburgh though (I wrote some features on dem fur Uni) an' dey were a bit unsettlin' at times. Durin' wan o dem an' auld American wife nixt tae me startin' skirrlin' dat she could see a peerie lass standin' nixt tae da tour guide. Crapped mesell.
