I'm sure when I drove past Grantfield tonight the diesel had gone up to 142.9 and unleaded was 139.9

I know there's lots of surface water on the roads just now but it is particularly bad on the main road north just past the turn off for the West Side/ Tingwall airstrip. Both lanes covered completely. Take care!

yep. I return often to the good ones and don't bother with the ones who can't be bothered. It's nice to have a wee trip on da boat to abdn tho for the things you can't get here. And there are some! Would seriously upset me if i couldn't get off da boat in abdn.

i shop more frequently in lerwick but funnily enough i get better service on my one trip to abdn from the shop folk than i get all year on da street

i always go xmas shopping in abdn this weekend in november. Booked one way flight in July -must have been an offer- £28.05 went last flight friday. Came back on boat last night and it was fine. I slept anyway, probably tired from the shopping! I'll go the same weekend next year and take my chances with the weather.
