Just read the latest Rankin; Impossible Dead. It's mainly playing in Fife. Excellent read though. Another question, what do you all think of the Anne Cleeves novels on Shetland? I liked them a lot but wondered what the real Shetlanders made of it.

Thanks MuckleJoannie! I knew about these stories but the strange thing is that me, as a grown up protestant down to earth dude ( ) actually had the creeps seeing that house. What about you, do you feel some kind of "presence" round that place or is it just bogus?

I know it's been discussed on these forums before but one of the scariest places I have ever seen was the Windhouse (see my avatar for reference). I stopped there on the way through Yell and took the picture. However I was too much of a coward to drive on up there to see what it was all about. Matter of fact, I was feeling afraid just being down there on the road What is it with the place?

Wow, this is my favourite Puffin picture ever! I've never seen the beasts because when I was in Shetland, I was too late (late August) but I will come back to seen these excellent birds In the meantime, I watch the puffin cam
