north
Reading in the Shetland Times yesterday, that the North Ness is now the "Cultural Quarter" of Lerwick! Makes me wonder what else in that quarter qualifies on the cultural front? Makes me wonder what, and where, the boundries of the other three might be? Of course it might be a "quarter" as defined by the SIC, which means it might well have 10 quarters! Government and beauracracy quarter. Shopping and Commerce quarter. Pubs and piss-heads quarter. Anyone with better ideas, or the inside information?
Evil Inky
According to dictionary.com, one of the meanings of quarter is "a particular district of a city or town, esp. one generally occupied by a particular group of people: the Turkish quarter; an artists' quarter."
