This guy has got an amazing voice and I love the video... it just serves to mind us never to take our loved ones for granted...

Haven't as yet read anything on this thread to indicate this... suggest that this is your own personal point of view and personal views are what this forum is all about... Agreed... but again it is only your opinion if another persons truth is not pleasant reading. Likewise there are plenty of practising athiests who use this form. Please don't forget that you are not just writing to like-minded believers I can't see anything below the belt, here. Religion is a very emotive subject. I for one am more than happy for any religion to co exist with me in any way shape or form, provided they understand I have no interest in joining them. But if religions believe they have the right to evanglise, then I believe everyone has the right to refute such claims. Your beliefs are your right. My beliefs are mine. Open discussion of belief is the right of ALL users of shetlink. If you wish to share you views with us, then great, please do. I am always ready to be convinced on all points. Aye... I think that you are correct BigMouth... most definately... what about a book of shadows in that box instead of a bible.. or like you say, a buddah..??? mmmmmmmm... I think that everyone is entitled to believe what they want to believe.... and the days of bible bashing are over... I dont think that anyone has the right to smother another person with their religious beliefs or non beliefs.. Shetland is too small for issues not to be dealt with... and for heads to be stuck in the sand... situations only become worse until the remedy becomes enforced.... and that wont do anyone any good... Just because it is a smaller community... doesnt mean to say that normal problems of society are not there, it would be arrogant to think otherwise... Shetland is a fantastic place full of wonderful and interesting people, there is going to be shall we say... a more troubled element... but that element cant be ignored otherwise... it might cause the sufferance of all... There is nothing worse than someone turning round and saying...well I am like this because no one was willing to help, or there was no help available... Everyone deserves a life and to be happy.... turning backs and not having that help available is criminal in itself....

I would be too scared unless it was from a woman... I guess... I will try the crash helmet one though. I shall remind myself when I get up there and I want to go a walk to take my crash helmet and put my leathers on ... (just hope it aint in the summer) lol... If I still had the bike it would be better if I was the one picking up the hitcher... I dont think that they would hitch again after being on the back of the bike at 150mph (should there ever be a road long enough in shetland to gain that speed) LOL... I doubt they would ask me again...

It is no slight to shetland if there is a requirement for a drug rehab centre...although I am not saying there is.... but at least it is addressing the problem should their be one... instead of sticking their heads in the sand and hoping that it will all go away... maybe if there is something done to help people who are on drugs and want to help themselves there might be less suicides too... Making drug users outcasts is not the answer..

Well we are the same... and ummm nothing to do with names more scientific and interesting... I have studied umm a lot to do with paranormal and occultism.. There is a problem with the kirk o shotts tho. There was a coven that used to go there and they opened up a vortex in the graveyard itself...and due to lack of expertise couldnt close it... so therefore things can go back and forward... I was part of a seance.. and it was rather interesting, but nothing major happened. I have a better picture of a spirit but I cant post it at the minute until I find a way how to upload it onto my yahoo photo albums and then use the url for the image on here...

Lmao, I think that says it all! LMAO... anyway yeah... I think that shetland transport will be the right people to do the job... I did speak to them and they said that they would move it, at a rate of about £95 a tonne. Or Pallet so ... that cant be bad. Same here leaving a lot of stuff behind as its too much hassle to bring.. going to buy flat pack furniture and build when we get there and once we buy a house.. living with mother until then lol....

I would have said that being a 'chav' is unintentional; it's a derogatory term for someone who exhibits certain behaviours and fondness for certain styles. Not many people happily describe themselves as a 'chav'. It would be like calling yourself 'tasteless'. 'Goth' on the other-hand is a self-applied term; something that people try deliberately to be and put some effort into. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm partly true... I wear what I like... I have worn.. big goth boots and a pvc catsuit... like when I went to Dark City in Edinburgh.. I also wear combat trousers... jeans... jogging bottoms.. a lot of outdoor clothing... walking boots/shoes... merrills, fitness clothing, surfy clothing... snowboard stuff.... doc martins...dungarees... long jumpers, short jumpers... pvc jeans... Motorbike gear etc... I guess I have no particular style .... just whatever I want to wear at the time.

see the thing is... its a no win situation isnt it... All that can be done is a programme put in place that drug abusers are offered help and support to kick the habit... Sadly in this world.. they have to WANT to be helped... and if they dont want to help themselves then ............???? who knows...

Ahh but not proper goth tho.. love the music and some of the clothes but to look at me you wouldnt think I was one ... no piercings like that... or tattoos ....
