Well, considering he's got the turning circle of the Bismarck and the speed of Teddy Sheringham i don't think he would meet the SLHF player selection criteria. However, he needs to be acknowledged for his commitment, dedication and application to the Southern League. I would give him the title as the "SOUTHERN LEAGUE GOOD-WILL AMBASSADOR". I think this man deserves that title for keeping the Green Machine alive between 2000-2005. If it was not for this man the Southern League would have been a 3 team league since 2000 or non-existant. I saw that (independant) article and being fat is good for you! That is an excuse. I think anyone can lose weight by eating less and doing more exercise. Leighton is a Delting player and will remain a Delting player for years to come. I can't stand people going on about this issue any longer!! If he wants to play for Delting then let him. I remember playing for Ness/whitedale in 2005, it was great! For the first time we were competing with A-league sides we beat Scalloway, Celtic and Spurs. We drew with Delting and Whalsay. We narrowly lost a cup final on penalties to Thistle. The Ness boys gained experience, confidence and BELIEVED we could beat anyone. However, EistnWast is right. I loved it at the time but Ness United never gained much from it in the long-term. Sorry Bunst but you will be the same when you seperate. I don't bite (only when you bring up the S.L.H.F database).

However, i do repect one Southern League Ref who still wears a Scotland tracksuit top from the 1982 world cup. I mean that piece of clothing should be in the Southern League Hall of Fame Museum or it might even be worth something on ebay.

Calm down shoogler deep breaths It does not matter if it's Celtic/Rangers, Arsenal/Spurs, Everton/Liverpool, Barcelona/Real Madrid, Inter Milan/Ac Milan. The majority of fans don't want to see thier rivals do well in Europe. I can't imagine too many Rangers fans supporting Celtic when they reached the 2003 Uefa Cup final or Everton fans supporting Liverpool in the 2005 Champions League final! What helps the "Scottish game" more than anything is having a good National Side. We are 13th in the world, England are 11th so don't worry. Feel free to support your RIVALS for the good of the National game but many fans will see this as being disloyal.

Well i wish Cunningsburgh had a pub becuase we have two churches that are very popular on a Sunday. We just need a nice pub to chill and relax becuase the Sandwick Social club is the nearest and it's grim! How often do they play Chesney Hawks, Jon Bon Jovi and Iron Maiden on the jukebox!! A longer football season would be good indoor/outdoor. However, Shetland is a good place to live as long as you stay away from the S.S.C
