Fatal Paper Cut
Ah, but can you remember how to remove and reinstall the TCP/IP settings from Windows 95A, then direct the customer to the bulletin board and pull down the patched version to stop them corrupting again whilst simultaneously getting a call from that woman who was always complaining that it was our fault when she went onto some website and IE crashed? Spinner72
Was it not pronounced 'nee-bong nee-bong'? Zetnet was the first ISP I ever used and they were great. Ahh... those were the days. Me too. (apart from a few days with AOL while i waited for the mail - imagine waiting for snailmail before being able to get online now!) Unless you count Prestel. I spent a fortune* on that. I actually still use Opera 2.12 to make sure sites work in generic browsers. In fact, thats a great testament to the old floppy - still use the original install disks! *someone elses fortune, er, fortunately! Edit - where's zetnet.local on shetlink? Fatal Paper Cut
Mark Barry - was he the guy with the Acorn who was needlessly aggressive at every turn? I remember once, after the advert about the quake sever went out in some game magazines, I got a call from a bloke who wanted to know how to complete a specific level for the N64 version.
