filskadacat
Not really a problem, as such - but came home this evening to an e-mail advising me of a PM - quite exciting - what could it be, not selling anything; but when I looked, there wasn't one in my Inbox. Only concerned if someone was in fact trying to get in touch with me and I am ignoring them?
Fjool
It's a relic left over from a spammer who was deleted earlier on today. More information can be found over at: http://www.shetlink.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8491&highlight= HTH!
sassermaet
Yeah, I got what appeared to be a spam message as well - it was promptly deleted.
filskadacat
Thanks Fjool - that's helpful. I never thought of a PM being spam! - dim. Sorry have taken so long to reply - have had rather long working day today and had very late night last night when Shetland cousin phoned up out of the blue to say he was in Forfar and could he come for the evening - a lot of spikkin gied on... Widworx
HiI have replied to a PM I recieved and noticed that my reply is sitting in my "outbox" and not in the "sentbox" I am assuming that it will be sent sometime, although it is now about 1.5 hours, so concerned that the sender may think I'm ignoring them. Does anyone know if this is normal? Or am I doing something wrong?
Njugle
It sits there until they recipient reads it. (or is it vice versa, I forget!) One is read, the other in unread.
beachcaster
Your message will sit in your outbox until the person you sent it to reads it. Nothing to worry about. Edit, njugle beat me to it, I must be a slow typer.

Njugle
Edit, njugle beat me to it, I must be a slow typer. Damn straight, I even had time to edit mine.
beachcaster
^What did you edit? it certainly wasn't the typo Probably better if I don't start a Grammer War with someone who has far superior writing skills than I will ever have, especially when I failed to capitalise his name in my own edited post, but couldn't resist
