  1. I got a PM from Njugle a week or so ago saying: http://static.flickr.com/49/136811732_703c5a9a0b.jpg
  2. He he he.... this whole war had slipped my mind (It's damned lucky I wasn't Churchill in a previous life) Ok. I'll try to get my brain in gear and think up an appropriate comeback.... This may take some time. How come it says that we edited our posts in 1970 underneath the eens that have been edited?
  3. Honestly? What wid your keyword be? Ooooo..... I found wan. Click Here!
  4. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 1000 posts you fiend! Well done!
  5. I just got yin Google Earth thing, and it is as cool as hell. Da photos o' Yell at least are identical tae the eens in Maps but you can zoom in a tad further with Earth. Da eens o' Yell are exactly 2 years old dis summer. I reckon the picture quality will just get better with time. The American satellites posses the ability tae read number plates fae space, so in time we should see picture quality more on a par with that (although probably never dat good). Maybe I'm living in a fantasy world though? A cool thing tae look at is Area 51. I was amazed by how isolated it is. You can see all the peerie planes sittin' ootside as weel. Ooooh, the Eiffel tower is cool as weel. You can nearly see individual people. A crap thing tae look at is Mount Everest. You dunna really get any sense of scale fae it...... but dat whole area is all runkley if you tilt da camera a peerie bit. Anybody else found any cool things?
  6. He dusna play we No Sweat any more, he retired. He still plays fir Yellicrack though. It's Davy Jamieson dat plays we No Sweat noo. He's a very good drummer.
  7. Oh... yin wis da version I was spikkin aboot Are they many advantages in getting the idder een? What kindo extra things can you do?
  8. Yeah, I noticed that they had upgraded the photos a couple of days ago. I was looking at New Zealand, and a lage portion of that is still blurry, and you can't zoom in. I reckon the ones of Yell are exactly 2 years old this summer, du to the fact that our extension walls and floor is up, but it still has no roof in the photo. This would have been around June 2004.
  9. Agreed. Most people don't need one of those huge fuel drinking beasts like so many people have here, when most of the time they could get by with a kia pride, or any other small car for that matter.
  10. Wid the £1 per litre figure no be a national average? There are places on the mainland where you can get fuel fir less than 90p a litre, which wid drag the average down. I geed tae the shop yesterday tae get fuel, and it wis £1.10 a litre!! Everybody should get peerie motorbikes tae cruise aroond on, they use virtually no fuel. I've done more than 200 mile so far on my 125 on aboot 5 or 6 pound worth o' fuel.
  11. Is it illegal to watch them? I knew it was illegal to upload them..... should I maybe remove my link and replace it with instructions on how to find it?
  12. I too watch it, you can get some full episodes on Youtube, if anyone fancies a taster.... If you want a peerie look, go tae youtube.com and hae a shurl fir it. Obviously the real thing (ie. the dvd) is much better quality and makes for a more enjoyable comedy sensation.
  13. I used google uk, I just didn't hit the "pages from uk" button and it seemed tae work.
  14. Waaaahhh.... Ok ok ok ok. Go to google Type in "failure" hit the "I'm feeling lucky button" Do it now afore google fixes it! (appologees fir my excitement)
  15. Is du no thinkin' aboot the bear on Linga?? My grandad and father always used tae tell me that story when we geed aff in the boat..... I'm sure it was linga as oposed to Fetlar? It's been a long time fae I've heard that een. (Linga is da peerie island that lies just aff Gutcher in Yell. Pronounced Ling-ee) I'll ask my father aboot it today, see whit he says. Du might be right aboot it bein' Fetlar, my brain might be playin tricks on me but for some reason in the back o' my heed I thought it wis Linga.
  16. Brilliant.... I feel embarrassed aboot my poor comeback noo.
  17. Yeah, I've been up there a fair few times. Theres a ladder in the cleaning cupboard that you go up to get to it. All thats up there is a massive hot water tank, a few old magazines and hundreds of drawings, people's names and general graffitti on the walls. Theres a few windows and things as well. When I was up it looked lik nobody else (not including hostel boys) had been up fir years.
  18. After a noticable abscence, PoolHaddock decided to make an impressive re-appearence... http://static.flickr.com/48/126923287_1bc18c400f.jpg ...Unfortunately, Njugle had the same idea that morning, but couldn't get his hands on a white horse.
  19. http://static.flickr.com/34/126907888_4b6b4121a6.jpg Sorry, couldna resist it. I had tae fuel my Terminator obsession somehow.
