HN38
Hiya We bought a second hand wardrobe and its got a musty smell am trying to get rid of, i bought 2 mini de-humidifier things to try but will likely take time to get the smell out, need a quicker fix untill these things kick in. Any advice? Was going to try those smelly things you can put in wardrobes but not sure where to buy or would it be better makeing ones? khitajrah
You could put an open box of bicarbonate of soda into the wardrobe - that absorbs odours.

Pleepsie
You could try the Oxy action laundry bleach to wipe down the inside. OXY-BOOST is a safe and effective alternative to chlorine based products and it can be used in many applications in and around the home. It is based on sodium percarbonate which uses oxygen for destaining and deodorizinghttp://www.oxyboost.com/productPages/oxyboost.html

Noodeyn
Wash it oot with vinegar on a cloth then leave a bowl of warm water with lemon juice in it overnight to eliminate the smell of vinegar.
MJ
I agree with Khit, if it's a wooden wardrobe once it's acclimatised to it's new surrounding (week or so) use an orange oil woodcleaner to get rid of any remaining mustiness and to bring up a nice shine to old wood/varnish. It'll help discourage any moulds.
