Anyone else fed up of seeing idiots that think the greatest thing in life is to drive along the seafront AKA the pier every single day with they're "modified cars" The use of offensive stickers, spoilers borrowed from British Airways, clear tail-lights that give you a headache and practical rims that cost more than the car are all well implemented by these guys. As all boy racers are aware, such modifications make a car not only cool but endlessly faster. I think most boy racers obtain this valuable information from such reliable sources as their mates. The thing that really gets me is the unnecessary noise they make as they take on the Tesco roundabout at 30mph! *sigh*

Everytime when am on this site I try up loading pictures and it wont up load them or am waiting for ever? Also why with all the errors the site looks a million times better but the same problems remain . I tried adding adverts and I have had 6 error pages, which deletes my adverts too meaning I have to start all over again each time. help me somebody am beginning to lose my rag !

VHS is half or less the resolution of DVD, before you start with anything else. if you're looking to "change" the quality - brightness/contrast/colour cast changes, then you might be OK, if you are looking to "enhance" it, then it's a bigger job and not likely to give CSI style results....

Thought I'd put this up in case folks don't know. Shetland FC won against Thurso at the weekend 1-1 after extra time 5-3 on penalties. The next game will be played at Thurso again (Shetland's home ground for the North Caledonian Cup) on Saturday 5th October, kick off should be 2,30pm. So if you're in the area or would like to travel to watch the game I'm sure the team would appreciate the support If the kick off times change I'll update the post.

Personally I wouldn't use that word, and have never dreamed of using it in any context that referred to a black person, the only reason I mentioned RDH using it was that from the very first time I heard the stand up routine I quoted it struck a cord with me as a great way to live your life. " if something is designed to offend you then just don't let it " very refreshing to hear that from someone who has probably faced real persecution throughout their life. For the record I do hate seeing racism, sexism and homophobic attitudes being portrayed anywhere, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I agree that just because someone takes offence at a comment or situation because that feel it may be homophobic for example, then that person is correct to take offence, if that makes any sense.

well it maybe but you have not painted a very nice picture of it. pity really as a struggling community should be working together for their joint interests.

Papa Stour or Prison? Some have chosen prison rather than stay on Papa Stour. (drug or alcohol related sentencing) So why would anyone with a sound mind pay £75,000 to stay on Papa Stour? It is indeed cheaper for the state to send inmates to Papa Stour rather than to go to send them to prison... but £75,000 is indeed a heavy fine for any innocent party!! Why invest in Papa Stour? Is it the friendly inmates(locals)? Is it because of the low unemployment? Perhaps it is the social night life? Or the great local shops? Free giant rabbits? The great sunshine? Please let me know! Either way the latest incomers have left for whatever reason and are now just another mouth from the south that has gone back with a little less money in the pockets than when they started off. Perhaps they can now say they are indeed "time served"?
