Competative people 8. American Politics 9. Health finatics... 10. People who forget to flush the toilet 11. People that drink on dancefloors in clubs 12. People who tell you their life story within 5 minutes of meeting them ( yawn ) 13. Know it alls 14. Hmmmm that all for now.. im sure i will come back with more

the worst about up here is anything that may be a personal thing between you and one other person soon ends up beign your mates agaisnt his mate.. over something that more than likely wasnt even worth fighting over in the first place.

I was only sayign that.. there seems to be a huge amount of people worryed about their identity been given away by an IP address.. I was mearly stating that if someone does that without your consent then that person is breaking the law.. unless it is the law that is asking for it through the proper means.. so there are no excuses not to register... and there goes another whittling crap post from me

even IP addresses can only be gained by court order.. so if you anyone gains it otherwise you can sue them to high heaven

could you up teh number fo post made per page to 20 or 25.. makes it easier for the 56k'ers to browse forums sicne they dont need to vewi so many pages etc etc..

Bolts electrical repairs section is absolutely shocking.. mate of mine put his telly into be fixed and it took over a year and a half for him to find out it couldnt be fixed.. just as well he wasnt in a hurry to find out.. but that kinda business would put you out of business downsouth very quickly.

I think the site is fairly.. if not very leagal.. as you would have to use an external piece fo software to record anythign from it.. a bit like how the new napster works.

Hi Twerto, Just for the record, I wasn't having a personal dig. Cheers Marvin No worry i generally dotn take anythign said on a forum as personal I was just trying to clarify that I wasnt dissing charity work. and possably explain my self a bit better. It's hard work being a devils advocate

To take this away from the music debate.. I for one never dissed any charity work that is ongoing and continueing to raise funds for any charity let alone cancer research. My comment was made purely on the assumtion the pervious poster was implying that the money from the tax payer would be better spent buying a cat scan than buildign a cinema/music venue. Yes a CAT scan would save life there is no denying that.. what I was getting at, was other than cureing the discomfort of haveing to travel to Aberdeen with family members over all work out cheaper to have one up here that what it cost the NHS to send these people south? after all it is only an hours flight and a short hospital bus ride.. im sure people on the mainland travel logner than that to get to hospital for such appointments. As marvin so kindly pointed out i should do more research on teh subject.. as with everything in life when it effects me i will.. but until then i will research things that effect me now. maybe some people can point out to me the benifits of ahvign oen in shetland over travelign south.. other than the discomfort part.

then we need to emloy a fully qaulafied person to work it.. is it so need in emergancies that we dont have time to fly people to aberdeen? to me it sounds like a waste of money.

I think this is so blown out of proportion.. if the animal activist start to use this as a reason.. this is one major occasion out of how many million trials? Law of averages would lead to think that Its amazing something like this hasnt happened a lot sooner. If anythign it proves that animals should be used more.. when you see the uproar that humans almost died. if it wasnt tested on animals you would see alot more of these stories in the press.

on the other hand you could not build a cinema/music venue.. most of the younger population gets bored of living in shetland due to lack of amenitiys and move south.. problem solved.. you dont need to build anymore housing. and no money has been spent.

depends on who has set up the link... most people at the moment dont set it up securely and are oblivious as to how easy it is to hack other peopels wifi accounts. So if you have the know how it is very simple to use there server thus getting your internet access for free.. Im sure if you did a google search on teh subject you would be able to find a document that told you how to do it. i'll stick we a cable coming oot da bak o me comp fir enu.
