  1. My partner and family frequently fly to and from Venice from Shetland via British Airways. I know this is the wrong side of Italy but seems to be the cheapest and most secure option with flights because you are only using one airline they need to get you to your destination if one of your flights is late. I'm sure BA also fly from Milan so thats who i would recommend. I wouldn't recommend EasyJet as every flight i have had with them has been late but i suppose you get what you pay for. Not good if you pay for a separate FlyBe to Shetland though which is the most expensive part of the journey.
  2. @Spock. I wonder if the problem you are having with going over your download limit has anything to do with the fact that bt wireless routers are showing as BTFON and BT Openzone. I was searching for my router on my iphone the other day and it picked this up and you don't need a wep key to access it. People can use these options to access the web either by already being a bt broadband customer and using their details to sign in or paying a small fee for a pass. I turned my router off and these options only appear when it is turned on. I wonder if this is whats affecting your usage?
  3. Cheapest by far in Shetland is SBS. I suspect other places in Shetland who sell helium pick it up from them.
  4. If anyone is travelling to Edinburgh who is needing dental treatment you can always go to the dental hospital. They have trainee dentist there and you often get treatment at a reduced price or free, i think you need to fill out a questionaire as well when you visit. It's an option if it's not emergency treatment you require and you don't want to pay private rates.
  5. For 14 Msq you would probably be best with a Dimplex cxls12 as it has a wee boost on it but it all depends how well the rooms are insulated. If it's not very well insulated you will need the size up cxls18.
  6. So anyway where can we get bottled helium to blow up balloons in Shetland?
  7. I would be cautious buying games consoles from amazon, a colleague of mine has done this and the device ended up coming from belgium with a european plug on it. The one you would buy from your local retailer are intended for the uk market. Also don't rely on the back up service from an amazon seller as in my own experience when something goes wrong it's a deal with it yourself scenario. I like it when i can go see someone about a faulty item and get them to deal with it. Your not just paying for the goods your paying for the service.
  8. I would recommend Emily Tait for all Physio needs, polite, friendly, knowledgeable. Really made me feel at ease and well equipped to help with my problem. Been to many different Physio's in the past but they never managed to pin point the problem like Emily did. Fine lass.

    Shetland Boxing

If either club would like a hand with fund raising or setting up i would be more than happy to lend a hand. It's about time that someone started some kind of defence class in Shetland because after 2 and half years of living in Shetland this is something that i have really missed. welldone to both clubs.
  10. Any progress/updates with this?
