  1. I thought a lot of exam results were sent by text these days? Did the posties do this additional service free or was it within their usual working hours? I can understand that some pupils will be applying to universities but it is hardly a matter of life and death to wait an additional day surely? (Or is patience no longer a virtue?) Would like to say well done to the posties as well. Results by text are good but there's nothing like opening a letter. Come on unlinkedstudent, lighten up a bit.

  3. Was there on Sunday too. Spoke to Billy & he said what had happened. It brightened the place up. Guess that the disgruntled member of staff who done it should be put in one of the skips.....

  15. That's the files I am on about. Am not after another hard drive though. I did read somewhere once upon a time that they were safe to delete but just wanted to get it confirmed. Am using XP Pro.
  16. Knew that would get your attention In the windows folder in the c:/ drive there are a lot of files that are highlighted in blue. These are taking up quite a bit of room on a rather small hard disc. Can these files be deleted safely? Thanks in anticipation to your replies.
