When I discovered I had lost my phone I did the first thing I rang my number !!! No answer . I tried AGAIN 10 MINS LATER !!! Hello how can I help you ? I think you have got my phone . Silence ! Look THIS IS MY PHONE WHERE ARE YOU ? I WILL COME AND PICK IT UP !!!! Sorry I have just put it in the skip !!! YOU Rotten Bstrd said I UNTIL THE CACKLE at the other end of the phone said its me your other half . The person on customer services at Tescos had called the first number on my phone .

If the person who handed my phone in to Tescos describes the phone the day and time the phone was found ( I know where in carpark I lost it and within half an hour of loosing it ) I will gladly reward finder or donate money to a charity of their choice .

Thanks so much to the honest person who handed my mobile phone into Tescos after I lost it in the carpark . Unfortunately you did'nt leave your name or I would have thanked you personally .

We keep hens and turkeys .No problem here in Shetland getting hens eggs but we would like to get some some white turkey eggs to bring on but can't seem to source them . We have tried the black and bronze variety but they don't grow as big as the white ones !

We have tried all of the afore mentioned we hae a 5ft slatted fence a aroond gairden but da wind seems tae burn athin we plant !

I worked many years ago in da Lounge efter closing time we used to soak da carpets we water before hoovering dem . Next morning der wis nae smell .

We usually spread the hens muck at beginning of the winter then till it over Spring time . It seems to work okay .

Whats the best fertiliser for growing vegetables ? We have tried seaweed and now we are using the hens droppings with fairly good results .

My b/h granny owned Lunna House and there was an otter that came early morning and late afternoon for a feed . Not sure what she fed it but it was still coming after she sold the house !

If I remember correctly when the first supermarket was built there fuel tanks were put in to be used at a later date . Not 100% sure maybe someone else can remember .

There must be someone out there who remembers what the topic of that day spurred on the amount of users that was online on that day . I am relativy new user to Shetlink and cant think of what would have expressed the high interest on that day ! Anyway I cant imagine life without Shetlink so keep up the good work posters and mods
