Absolutely nothing !!! Except the godsawful shops . I know its a bit early for xmas but local shops seem to hang up some fairy lights and a bit o tinsel amongst what they have had in stock since nineteen oatcake and expect us to buy it ! Thank god for the internet .

I dont usually get involved in politics but I think time will tell on either side . As the saying goes dig a hole deep enough !!!!!!!

We are selling at Freefield centre on Friday 13th 12 midday till 2pm . Posters will be out nearer time

Hopefully we are having another meeting around about March / April time . We are definately having charity shop . Meanwhile its National Diabetes day on the 14th November we at work are selling Home made soup and Sandwiches . Raffles and homebakes . So come along and help us raise some money for the cause .

Who do you think has the most annoying voice or who cant you stand on TV / Radio ? I am not sure if we are allowed to be personal on Shetlink but here goes I can't bear to listen to Caroline Miller or Laura Baizleys voice on Radio Shetland . They sound so pathetic and and so insincere I turn off !!! BEOCK

Is the photos of walk to cure diabetes in it ?

I work for SIC . When post was first created it was for 23 hours a week . With single status I was told I could continue on that hours or increase to 25 and a half which I opted for . Meaning more pay . I already worked on average 2 to 3 hours a week without pay so now I am getting paid for what I did for free !

Recommend Scalloway hotel . We were in Fisheries College about a month ago it was disgusting ! If the fish had been alive it would have been swimming around in the grease !

There is plans to have charity shop for a week or two in springtime . So save up your your bits and pieces you no longer have use for ! We will be looking for helpers as well !!!

Did they not transfer the clock onto the Tolbooth when it was renovated ?

Its actually discrimination against pensioners who are eligible to retire at sixty and are getting a Government pension . Which means those on credits etc get Xmas bonus those sixty five and over get fuel subsidy . How unfair is that ?

We have had two kitchens from them . One in old house one in new . There were a few minor problems but were corrected pronto . We had bathroom from Homebase despite being told it would be delivered in 6 weeks we waited 5 months they were c... to deal with so dont go with them . Still parts missing !

My father worked for a cables company (B.I.C.C.) at the time the Gunnister man was found . They were laying cables nearby when the peat cutters called them over . If I remember his story correctly it was treated as a murder case and the police were called in . All his workmates were questioned at the time .
